Cryptomeda: A Complete Ecosystem Including a Major Multiplayer Game and New Series of Mini-Games

Our Gaming Vision

Cryptomeda was born with the intent to one day grow into a large and continually evolving ecosystem, complete with a play-to-earn model and a number of cross-game NFTs. With the intent to revolutionize a traditionally stressful crypto market, a number of different components and gaming opportunities come into play. If you’ve been following along on the Cryptomeda journey so far, there’s a good chance that you are familiar with our multiplayer mobile game, Meda wars. But, this was only one part of our development of a larger entertainment community with additional PC and Mobile games in the same world and following similar storylines. These mini-games offer users a number of additional opportunities to play and earn in the form of single-player web-based games. Players can even think of these two mini-games as a little teaser of what is to come at the beginning of 2022.

While Meda Wars continues to be our main focus, the level of detail and complexity we aim to bring must be just right and therefore, requires a necessary amount of attention to do so. Therefore, as we work towards bringing our community the best game possible, we also couldn’t leave anyone hanging in the meantime. As a result, each of these mini-games offers players new opportunities to have fun in the Cryptomeda ecosystem and earn rewards in preparation for our major release to come, Meda Wars. Our internal team has greatly enjoyed developing these mini-games, as they provide players with the opportunity to play for free while using any of the NFTs they have already collected. Over the next two months, we continue to look forward to launching two of these mini-games using Unity, Meda Shooter, and Meda Runner.

Meda Shooter

With great excitement, we want to introduce you to what will be our first mini-game, Meda Shooter, a web-based 2D action shooting game. Players will be tasked to collect weapon parts in the form of nonfungible tokens (NFTs), which users will then combine into a “final” NFT weapon. These NFTs have multiple uses that extend across our entire platform and are also tradable in our marketplace. As players participate in Meda-shooter, they will collect TECH points, which translate to in-game perks and improve each player’s quality of play. The best players in the first version of Meda Shooter will be rewarded with exclusive spots on the leaderboard. That said, this game will later evolve to be a part of a more complex play-to-earn model, an update that users can expect in later development stages.

Meda Runner

Following Meda Shooter is our second mini-game release, Meda Runner. Meda Runner is a web-based 3D survival game where players look for opportunities to get as far as possible and record as many points as they can on the leaderboard in every period. The further each player makes it and survives, the more points they will gain. Although this may sound like an easy endeavor, players are warned that enemies will be waiting for them along their way, and they will do everything in their power to stop them. Players must make it through with various improvements available throughout the journey, which will also help to increase their quality of life in the game.

Major Developments Ahead

These are only two of the mini-games that we plan to incorporate into the Cryptomeda ecosystem. As more games are added, users will find that the number of uses for their NFTs will increase as well. Designed for maximum entertainment, users will notice many elements common in traditional gaming with the addition of opportunities to earn TECH tokens and other collectibles. Players can then carry over these assets into the Fantasy world of Meda Wars, complete with combat, missions, and a more detailed reward strategy. With the skills and strategies picked up in our mini-games, players will be well-positioned to embark on an exciting PvP adventure to conquer their foes and earn an income.

Together, we believe these interconnected games will help us continue lowering the barriers to entry for players to interact with the world of cryptocurrency and NFTs. And these mini-games are just a small step in helping us achieve this!
