Cryptomeda Integrates Chainlink Keepers To Automate Its Admin Wallet Funding Mechanism

We’re excited to announce that Cryptomeda — an NFT gaming ecosystem — has integrated Chainlink Keepers live on the Polygon mainnet. We are leveraging Chainlink Keepers to securely and cost-efficiently automate the management of admin wallets on the backend of our platform. As a result, Chainlink Keepers are now helping ensure Cryptomeda’s wallets maintain a sufficient MATIC balance so that services on our platform continue to operate without interruption.

We decided to automate Cryptomeda using Chainlink Keepers because it is operated by the same pool of time-tested, provably reliable node operators that currently help secure tens of billions of dollars in DeFi, even during record levels of network congestion and extreme volatility. The proven infrastructure of Chainlink helps ensure that every Upkeep is executed on-time in a trust-minimized manner, giving users additional guarantees that it will function exactly as intended.

Cryptomeda is a gaming ecosystem that blends unique NFT collectibles, DeFi mechanics, and a marketplace. To support these products and ensure our platform runs smoothly, we need our admin wallets to be properly funded at all times to ensure we can pay gas fees for token airdrops, token vesting, transactions on the marketplace, NFT mints, and much more.

Chainlink Keepers help ensure our admin wallets are funded at all times by monitoring them constantly and then triggering a function that funds the wallets with MATIC when the balance reaches a predetermined level. This is a critical function for the protocol, especially during network congestion when fees spike and wallet balances can be drawn down. Automating this process in a highly secure, reliable, and decentralized manner with Chainlink Keepers saves precious developer time and increases the efficiency of our protocol.

Chainlink Keepers is a decentralized service purpose-built to manage tasks on behalf of smart contracts. Chainlink Keepers serve as a decentralized, hyper-reliable, and economically incentivized automation bot that wakes up smart contracts when they need to perform critical on-chain functions, which usually take place at regular time intervals (e.g., every day at the same time) or based on external events (e.g., when an asset hits a specific price).
